Strengthening Your Brand Part Ten

You can then include the colours in your interior design, and in your booklets printing and use this to recall your business and your logo for anyone looking through them.

Another strategy when building a good brand is to come up with a slogan. Slogans are useful because they can used to 'summarise' what your brand stands for and make it less abstract and this can also be useful for people who aren't yet familiar with your organisation when used on silk cards or posters printing. Think of ten words or less that summarise your business and what benefit your customers get from using it. Try to incorporate this into your advertising – and perhaps even how staff answer the phone. Of course ensure that your logo itself is also well designed and then try to use the two together.

Conversely though, do not use your brand in cases that do not reflect well on your business and do not over use it or you will dilute the brand and its value. Think of your brand as your reputation, and this as one of the most important aspects of your successful business strategy.
